Three hat-tricks, seven goals in 13 minutes and Tigers keep roaring
By Sacha Pisani15 June 2026

Fresh off Federation Cup glory and Australia Cup qualification, Tigers FC showed no signs of slowing down in NPL Capital Football.
The league leaders backed up a midweek 1-0 win over O'Connor Knights by dismantling Canberra Juventus 5-1 on Sunday.
Aidan Milicevic was again the headline act, scoring twice in the space of three minutes to continue a remarkable run of goals. The in-form forward now has 18 goals in 16 matches and eight in his last four appearances.

Spencer Barber, David Owusu and Marko Milutinovic also found the net as Tigers strengthened their position at the summit, though Canberra Croatia have two games in hand.
If Milicevic wasn't the most prolific player of the weekend, Daniel Barac certainly had a case.
The Monaro Panthers forward scored a hat-trick in just 10 minutes as third-placed Monaro thumped Queanbeyan City 5-2 in the local derby.
The result followed a dominant week for the Panthers, who had already defeated Tuggeranong United 6-1 midweek, with Connor Mynott-Smith helping himself to a hat-trick in just half an hour.
Queanbeyan entered the weekend after suffering another defeat, having gone down 4-2 to Canberra Croatia during the week.
Elsewhere, Tuggeranong United bounced back from that midweek loss to edge O'Connor Knights 3-2 and remain fourth.

Belconnen United also enjoyed a crucial victory at the foot of the table, defeating Brindabella Blues 4-1.
Riley Brown stole the show, scoring a hat-trick in 30 minutes to lift Belconnen past their fellow strugglers.
