By Sacha Pisani19 June 2026

Bankstown City have delivered another clear indication of their ambition, securing the signing of former Macarthur Bulls defender Tomislav Uskok.
Uskok arrives at the Football NSW League One outfit after five seasons in the A-League with Macarthur, where he established himself as one of the club's most reliable performers and became a key figure during one of the most successful periods in their history.

The experienced centre-back made 143 appearances across all competitions for the Bulls, scoring 14 goals and helping the club lift the Australia Cup on two occasions.

Uskok, who also featured in the AFC Champions League, reunites with Panny Nikas after they played together at Sydney United in NPL NSW.
“Very excited to get started,” Uskok told Bankstown City’s official media.
“I just want to help the team get promotion as the club’s ambition is. It is a big club in the history of NSW. They want to get back up there and the best way to do that is to give good performances.”
He added: “Everyone wants to win. I play to win. I don’t want to go there and waste my time or anybody else’s time.”
Uskok’s arrival continues a significant period of change at Bankstown.
This is a club with history. A sleeping giant of the NSW game. Bankstown haven’t played in the state’s top flight since 2011. They even spent four seasons in the third division between 2018 and 2022.
Bankstown City are third in Football NSW League One - eight points behind leaders Blacktown Spartans and four points adrift of Northern Tigers.
