2 red cards, 7 goals and a Socceroo watching on: FK Beograd win unforgettable Federation Cup final

FK Beograd were crowned Federation Cup champions after overcoming nine-man Cumberland United 5-2 after extra time in a remarkable South Australian decider watched by Socceroos star Mohamed Toure.
Cumberland captain Ellison Dunton opened the scoring with a stunning long-range strike in the 12th minute before Abu-Bakari Hussein equalised.

The contest then swung dramatically when second-tier Cumberland were reduced to 10 players before half-time.

But Cumberland refused to fold. They fought their way into a 2-1 lead before Beograd captain Antonios Natsiopoulos came off the bench and equalised just four minutes later, eventually sending the final into extra time.
A second red card left Cumberland with nine players for the additional period and Beograd finally broke their resistance. Substitute Antoni Trimboli scored twice before Daniel Atkinson completed a 5-2 victory for the NPL SA outfit.
Lorenzo Boselli was named Player of the Match as Beograd lifted one of South Australian football’s major trophies.
