George Blackwood continued his red-hot goalscoring run, netting four times as WT Birkalla demolished Para Hills Knights 11-0 to remain top of the NPL SA table with just two rounds remaining.
The former A-League striker now has seven goals in his past three league matches, continuing the remarkable form that has propelled Birkalla to the brink of a maiden premiership.

The comprehensive victory - which saw Birkalla’s Nicholas Harpas
make his 300th appearance - ensured they stayed one point clear of MetroStars at the summit.
Birkalla's position was strengthened further after MetroStars suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat to an inspired Playford City, opening the door for the leaders to tighten their grip on the title race.
Third-placed Adelaide City also missed the chance to move level on points with the leaders, surrendering a lead in a 2-2 draw against Croydon FC. Oliver Trimboli scored twice in eight second-half minutes to rescue a point, leaving just two points separating the top three.

Adelaide United also collected an important 2-0 win over FK Beograd, with highly-rated Australia youth international Amlani Tatu producing another moment of brilliance. The teenage winger opened the scoring with a superb solo effort before adding a second to continue his outstanding season.
Elsewhere, West Adelaide and Sturt Lions played out a scoreless draw, while Campbelltown City edged Adelaide Comets 1-0 to round out Round 20.
