Stirling Macedonia delivered the standout result of the round in NPL WA, powering to a 5-2 win over bottom-placed Armadale in a dominant attacking display.

Callum McKenzie led the way with a brace as Stirling ran riot in the final third, producing the biggest statement of the weekend to stay firmly in the hunt.

At the top, Olympic Kingsway returned to the summit with a 2-1 win over high-flying Western Knights, while Perth RedStar kept pace with a 4-2 victory against Balcatta Etna. It featured a goal from former Perth Glory defender Riley Warland.

Olympic and RedStar now sit two points clear of Stirling, setting up an early three-way battle, while Armadale remain rooted to the foot of the table.

Elsewhere, Bayswater City edged a thrilling 3-2 win over Perth Azzurri, Sorrento claimed a narrow 1-0 result against Fremantle City, and Dianella White Eagles shared the points in a 2-2 draw with Perth Glory.

The goals are flowing, but so is the pressure at both ends of the table.
