Brunswick Juventus' Australia Cup dream is alive and well following Tuesday night’s victory over VPL1 rivals Bulleen Lions.
The VPL1 promotion contenders have booked their place in the Australia Cup Round of 32 for the first time since 2019 after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over fellow second-tier outfit Bulleen.

The result continues a remarkable cup run that has captured attention across Victorian football.
Just one round earlier, Brunswick produced one of the upsets of the competition by eliminating NPL VIC powerhouse and 2022 Australia Cup semi-finalists Oakleigh Cannons.
That tie required extra time and a moment of drama, with Sean Ellis emerging as the hero courtesy of a 111th-minute winner.
HIGHPRESS INTERVIEW: He's scored 26 goals in 13 games. The real story is what happened off the pitch
Rather than allowing that victory to become the high point of their campaign, Brunswick have backed it up. Now they find themselves among Australia's final 32 clubs.
The timing could hardly be better.
While their cup adventure gathers momentum, Brunswick remain firmly in the hunt for promotion from VPL1. Sitting third in the standings, they are chasing a return to Victoria's top tier while simultaneously building one of the competition's most compelling Australia Cup stories.
